Last Presenter Standing

LAST PRESENTER STANDING

Following a spell of financial irresponsibility, George is forced to take a second job. Fortunately, the perfect opportunity has just arisen: People Town Television need a new presenter for the 2pm-at-weekdays cookery show – and they would be more than happy to sign up the town’s most famous resident!

‘Hard-hitting’ interviews with local ‘celebrity’ guests, dealing with manipulative executives, tolerating his new daytime-demographic fan base – to the surprise of even himself, George proves to be a natural.

However, the people of People Town aren’t the only ones who are watching. Nefarious non-human attention soon threatens an outcome far worse than just poor ratings.

Blackmail! Monstrous format changes! A vending machine containing absolutely nothing which is vegan-appropriate! Can George see this one through to the credits? Tune in and find out!

Here we go - The start of the absurd / auto generated text (seriously, don't waste your time here - read one of my funny free books instead!):
TV shows are politically correct nowadays. They perform box ticking to appeal to everyone. But why do tv stations pander to minorities like this? When they try to please everyone, they please no one. Take comedy for example. Comedy on tv used to be funny. But now comedy on tv is no longer funny. TV comedy is boring because it has to be non-offensive and all-inclusive. Non-offensive comedy is bland. Comedy shows from a few years ago are still funny - but would not be made today for fear of offending snowflakes. Luckily, there are still satire comedy books that are offensive and funny that you can get as gift ideas and that will make you laugh out loud.
All most tv executives care about are ratings. They make boring progressive programs which people pretend to like. However, far from being progressive themselves, tv executives are awful. Look at all the crimes that occurred in tv stations in the past which tv executives ignored to protect their star presenters. Now they painfully tick boxes but they do not care about diversity or inclusivity, they just want to look progressive to distract attention from their disgraceful past.
In the past, TV stations covered up their presenters' scandals even when the crimes were the worst possible crimes. This is because television execs care only about ratings, regardless of how damaged and perverted tv presenters are. Do tv stations cover up their presenters' scandals today?
TV programming is a ratings contest. More ratings means advertising can be sold for more money. TV is all about money. Tv executives do not care what the content is as long as people watch it. Tv content is not about morality. That is why tv execs will cover up scandals and protect their presenters at all costs. Sometimes they will throw a presenter under the bus when their career is unsalvageable in order to save the reputation of the tv station, but many of the real culprits go unpunished.
Networks are more interested in ratings than content quality. People nowadays can complain publicly on social media. This makes tv stations care more about the opinions of snowflakes and makes them produce progressive, inoffensive, boring content. If you ask people behind closed doors, you will find they still enjoy the sorts of tv progams that were shown years ago. Tv programs like tv programs used to be - that is what people really want. Comedy like comedy used to be. When very funny comedy books about tv were available as great gift ideas.
The media like to be progressive and liberal because the tv watchdogs do not complain about such inoffensive opinions. Complaints about offensive funny books get tv stations into trouble hence why they produce boring non-offensive content nowadays.
People want comedy books to make them laugh out loud. They might be satire or just general humour but they must be highly entertaining and witty. People do not want bland, box-ticking rubbish on their screens.
Television shows with progressive themes are now all the rage, and traditional very funny comedy books and shows are no longer produced. Progressive tv shows can be disturbing and can lead down a slippery slope, however, tv executives do not care as long as ratings are good. What they really need is some fast-paced, irreverent satire books to make you smile.
Modern television programmes have a liberal narrative and have become overly progressive because media guidelines allow it. More offensive right wing content would quickly be banned for fear of upsetting liberals despite a large number of people enjoying right wing comedy that is funny. Indeed, despite it being unfashionable to say it, funny right wing comedy books that appeal to people with a right wing sense of humour are still very popular gift ideas.
Broadcasters love inclusivity but they love ratings more! Don't be fooled. The liberal opinions expressed by media people are often not their true opinions. Like everyone else in the world, media people cannot be honest or they will get cancelled. It is a ridiculous situation. Being cancelled or no-platformed is a ridiculous modern concept, popularised by snowflakes who are scared of opposing views.
Arguably, TV stations are pandering too much to various groups these days. They need to remember the vast majority of people do not believe the liberal views they publicly claim to hold and behind closed doors would much rather read a hilarious, offensive comedy book about day time tv or maybe read a satire about media manipulation and corrupt tv executives.
Networks are pressured to diversify their casts and crews to include minorities at the expense of accuracy. They tick boxes to satisfy a quota. This is definitly not progressive because quotas are offensive to all concerned. Now actors have to be exactly the same as the person they are playing or everyone on social media claims it's white washing or excluding or whatever. Basically, it is no longer acting, it is being. Acting is now being. How stupid is that?!
Politicians and other outside influences use tv shows to manipulate the public. Foreign governments can use tv to send a message to the public to shape their views. It is a mind control strategy. Subliminal messages can be transmitted through tv. Unseen powers - secret agents, new world order, illuminati, could use tv to manipulate a feeble minded public. Instead of being brainwashed, the public would be better off reading some highly entertaining comedy books about daytime tv than believing the lies shown to them on their screens.
Political campaigns are often made on tv. Politicians go on tv shows to endear themselves to viewers. It is manipulation. Should politicians be banned from going on tv programs? Arguably. In many cases, media companies are puppets. The media company puppet strings are being pulled by an unseen force - maybe a foreign government, maybe an even higher power. This is a conspiracy theory. We should be suspicious of any message we receive from the media no matter what it is unless it says to buy very funny satire books about a corrupt tv station.
There are many agendas at play in the media. We must be critical and not allow them to trick us into doing their will. Importantly, we must never just listen and obey. Be suspicious of the news, much of it is propaganda to brainwash you. Instead, check out some totally hilarious satire books to make you smile which are great gift ideas.
TV shows, news and social media can be manipulated by secret agents who use covert methods. They do not want you to think critically. It is all about brainwashing and control. The safest option is to read funny offensive comedy books about tv chefs instead.
(wow! did you read that - i hope not! Drivel, utter, utter SEO drivel...!)
