The Vegan Charade

THE VEGAN CHARADE

Volumes 1 (The Quest For The Holy Hummus) and 2 are contained in the same FREE ebook!

Now established in People Town, George is enjoying his new, civilised life. However, back in Dragonville trouble is brewing.

A war has been declared! Sworn enemies, the Ogreton Ogres have heard that a huge, poncho-wearing dragon refuses to eat people and also, that it won’t let the other dragons eat them either. There can be only one explanation for this nature-defying dietary-finickiness: They have all gone soft!

Tasked with averting the conflict, George is dragged back from his idyllic existence. His only hope is to convince the ogres that they’ve got it wrong; that dragons are still mental monsters who will happily gulp down anything put before them without making a huge fuss. But actual people-eating isn't an option, because he’s a vegan, you know!

Fortunately, People Town’s largest resident isn’t alone in his laborious, meat-free charade. The members of the Amateurish Amateur Dramatics Society / Production Company are waiting for their curtain call.

Will George's thespian abilities be up to the challenge? Will he be able to find his motivation? Will all terrifying losses of self-control be strictly as per the script? Tickets available now!

Here we go - The start of the absurd / auto generated text (seriously, don't waste your time here - read one of my funny free books instead!):
Amateur dramatics is so much fun. Whether or not you have an obvious talent for acting, you can still have a lot of fun with amateur dramatics. It gives you a chance to try something new and laugh at your mistakes. For the more shy among you, this is the perfect opportunity to come out of your shell. Acting can be a lot of fun, but bad acting is fun to watch. An opportunity to show less attractive personality traits.
Amateur acting is a great way to share your creative side. Whether you're on stage or working behind the scenes, it's a great opportunity to have a creative outlet. Acting is fun and will make you forget your worries. But it's important to make sure you're not trying to outdo or intimidate your supporting players.
Books about bad acting can be very entertaining books about terrible acting.
Amateur dramatics is a fun hobby and a great way to meet people who are passionate about acting. The best thing about acting is that you have a wide variety of emotions that you can show the audience. For some actors, acting is a way to discover themselves and their talents. Others are more reserved and prefer producing and acting behind the scenes. A great actor can give an interesting performance even with a bad script or on a bad set.
I've been into amateur dramatics and I found to be a very enjoyable and satisfying activity. Acting, as we all know, is a lot of fun. But I think bad acting is just as much fun as the truth. It's always fun to meet up with old friends and do a few short scenes. It's a great way to take a break from the usual daily routine.
Prima donnas are the worst when it comes to acting. They forget their lines, exaggerate, show off on stage and never accept criticism. However, tantrums can be quite entertaining. Prima donna actors can be pretty frustrating. They have nothing to say and think they are the only ones allowed to appear on stage. In reality, they are the least talented, but still manage to steal the show.
Prima donnas have been a part of theatre from the very beginning. They are also common in film and the performing arts. Prima donnas are a problem in each of these areas. There's a real glimmer of talent out there, and that's why they are tolerated. But there's a reason prima donnas are often called the bad guys.
Comedy books set in the theatre, or comedy books involving amateur dramatics. Amateur dramatics books that are funny are a popular choice. Amateur dramatics done badly can be very funny.
Let's face it, we don't all want to come across as that person, but prima donna acting can happen to the best of us. You are on the podium,,and you're hooked on that final monologue that will be perfectly timed by that final chord of the orchestra. Nothing will stop you from giving the bad guy the final blow, but you forgot your last sentence. You're making a mess and the audience is waiting for you to get your act together.
When someone is rude, they exaggerate in a way that is obviously contrived and funny. The idea of 'breaking down the fourth wall', that is, allowing the audience and the actors on stage to communicate with each other, is seen by some as an unnecessary activity. The exaggerators come up with the idea of using cartoons of emotions to make others laugh.
Hamming it up is when you "double up" the pressure on the scenes you're in. For players, this means going overboard and breaking the fourth wall. Overacting is where the actor is, they take on larger-than-life roles and exaggerate their character traits to the point where the role they play is one that uses every possible muscle in their body. It is generally unwelcome in the film industry and is often a rookie mistake.
Closing is something artists sometimes do to entertain their audience. That doesn't mean turning it off is the only way. There are a few other techniques to consider. Breaking the fourth wall is one thing. This technique is often done with theatre. The artist directly addresses the audience, never the character he portrays. Funny books about amateur dramatics to make you laugh. The artist engages in conversation with the audience about what awaits him during the work. The other technique is extreme movement.
The difference between comedy acting and unintentional comedy is the difference in tone. Unintentional comedy is all about making the audience laugh. There is humor in the performance, but it was not done intentionally by the actor. The actor does not expect the audience to laugh, but hopes that the audience will enjoy the experience.
It's good and a major part of what makes theatre and comedy theatre so great, but there's so much more to comedy acting. In the theatre, unintentional comedy occurs when the actors are on stage, but they do not act intentionally to joke. It should be played for seriousness. Scary, exaggerated acting is an example of comedy acting.
Acting can take many forms, and one of the most popular forms is comedy. Acting comedy may not be what some people think of when they think comedy acting but it definitely can be. Comedy comes in many forms and can be as diverse as the actors who play it. For a play to be considered a comedy, it must have funny events and a funny atmosphere.
Wars are not funny, however, comedy books about wars do exist. Funny war books often exploit the ridiculousness of a situation. War books, novels and films provide us with insight into how war is. Governments lies about the reasons for war and comedy war books expose this.
War books that are funny while still focusing on the effects of war are interesting.
Liberation or invasion? What is the difference? Comedy war books can expose governemnt propaganda that governments tell the people.
Sometimes wars are fought for the wrong reasons, or excuses to go to war excuses are made. War books may be funny as they show the lies told by governments. Wars to obtain land or oil are common place but governments pretend they are about terrorism or religion. Fighting wars for natural resources such as health benefits of superfood kale is unhealthy.
War books can be informative, but also funny. Often, the military is not painted in a good light in war books, however, the fault often lies with evil dictators who control everyone. Governments often fool people into going to war by telling lies.
One of the main lessons from our history is that wars are not always fought for the right reasons. Question those in power. Why does the government want war? War books can be difficult to read, but war books that are entertaining exist. It makes the mood easier to digest and easier. It can also be a great educational instrument because it provides you with information on what happened in the past.
Funny books about war can add an excitement you don't get in most books. Wars started for the wrong reasons are common. Fighting wars to obtain natural resources is silly. Books about war that are entertaining are similar to satirical books about war and satire books about war. Also, comedy books about war are great fun and are entertaining for readers.
And... I'm back!
